At the museum
Explore Victorian London and go back in time to the gruesome sights, sounds and murders of 1888 with a visit to the Jack the Ripper Museum.
Immerse yourself in the world of crimes of history’s infamous serial killer and his victims. The six floors of the museum traces the story of Jack the Ripper from the perspective of six of the women who were his victims.
With your Jack the Ripper Museum ticket, explore Mitre Square, a terrifying waxwork recreation of PC Watkins discovering the body of Catherine Eddowes. Visit Jack the Ripper’s ‘sitting room’ which houses the medical instruments, books, maps, letters and an interesting collection of weird and wonderful Victorian memorabilia.
The museum also documents the prime suspect Walter Sickert’s original drawing of the body of a woman on a metal bed, appropriately signed in red ink. See the evidence that was presented on the crime scene boards by the Whitechapel police stations and inspect the ‘From Hell’ and ‘Dear Boss’ letters, as well as original newspaper, police artefacts and much more!
