We will begin the visit at the Plaza del Triunfo, where the Cathedral and the Giralda Tower meet with the Royal Alcazar, two buildings declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
First, we will go to the Royal Alcazar of Seville, one of the most representative monuments of the city, the country, and of the Mediterranean culture. The declaration of the monument as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987 guaranteed its survival.
Then, we will start a walk through the Santa Cruz neighbourhood. This is the old Jewish quarter of Seville, where at the time of Ferdinand III of Castile the Jewish settled under the protection of the King. Enjoy the smell of the orange blossom and the color of the orange trees that are in each square while you walk through its narrow streets and learn about how the city has been growing around this area over the years.
Finally, you will go to the Cathedral of Seville, which is the third-biggest cathedral of the Gothic period, and the third-largest in the world. It was registered by UNESCO in 1987 as a World Heritage Site. This cathedral houses the largest and richest altarpiece in the world. On the left of the Royal Chapel is the entrance to the majestic Morisco de La Minaret Giralda, which now serves as the bell tower of the cathedral. It is worth going up to the top and enjoying the view.
